Round table of the RCCA and the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs with the support of "Rustam Kurmaev & Partners"

RKP’s Partner Dmitry Kletochkin and Head of Practice Oleg Permyakov will take part in “Praemonitus, praemunitus. Risk zones of Heads of Legal and top management of companies”, a round table organized by the Russian Corporate Counsel Association (RCCA). The event will take place on September 3, 2020 in the Congress Center of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Speakers will discuss how to correctly identify and minimize risks, implement internal protection mechanisms, and protect the company’s legal counsel and management from potential liability. Special attention will be given to practical advice on interaction with law enforcement agencies.

The Russian Corporate Counsel Association is a non-profit partnership founded in 2003. It is the only professional association in Russia that brings together the heads of in-house legal functions and corporate counsels from over 100 leading Russian and international companies. The mission of the Association is to promote the prestige of the corporate legal function, strengthen the legal community, and contribute to the development of public institutes.

Dmitry Kletochkin will devote his speech to the topic "Criminal liability of CEO and Heads of legal: non-obvious risks". During his presentation, Oleg Permyakov will highlight the most pressing issues of bankruptcy and subsidiary liability. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation will share practical cases and discuss the most interesting cases that can be instructive for representatives of commercial organizations, as well as talk about mechanisms for developing new concepts and approaches of law enforcement agencies to investigating economic crimes.
